Mumbai: The hype around Ranveer Singh’s upcoming spy-action drama Dhurandhar has intensified with the release of a new high-energy number titled ‘Ez-Ez’, featuring an electrifying collaboration between Diljit Dosanjh and rapper Hanumankind.
Ranveer calls it “the biggest collab of 2025”
Ranveer unveiled the music video on Instagram early Wednesday, praising composer Shashwat Sachdev and celebrating the team-up between Dosanjh and Hanumankind.
“The biggest collab of 2025!” he wrote in his caption, urging fans to watch the track, which quickly sent social media into overdrive. Within minutes, the comments section was flooded with reactions, many viewers hailing the song as a “banger” and predicting it would dominate playlists.
Second major musical release from Dhurandhar
‘Ez-Ez’ arrives shortly after the film’s title track soared in popularity. Earlier, the makers had dropped the soulful ‘Gehra Hua’, sung by Arijit Singh, which highlighted Ranveer Singh’s onscreen chemistry with young co-star Sara Arjun. With all three songs showing different shades of the film, the soundtrack is emerging as one of the most talked-about of the year.
Ranveer on the film: “We aimed for a global standard”
Speaking about Dhurandhar, Ranveer said the team tried to raise the bar for Indian action cinema.
“(The Wrath of God) We wanted to create a feature presentation at par with any film in the world,” he noted in a press statement, adding that the project represents an effort to “level up” across every stage of filmmaking.
CBFC clears the film after concerns raised
In a significant update, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted approval to Dhurandhar following a review prompted by concerns from the family of Major Mohit Sharma, Ashoka Chakra and Sena Medal awardee.
The Board affirmed that Dhurandhar is entirely fictional and bears no resemblance—direct or indirect—to Major Sharma’s life. It also noted that the film carries a prominent disclaimer clarifying that all characters and events are imaginary.
Star-studded cast gears up for release
Directed and written by Aditya Dhar, the film boasts a major ensemble including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal alongside Ranveer Singh. Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar is set to hit theatres worldwide on December 5, 2025.
