New Delhi: Panic spread across parts of the national capital on Wednesday morning after over 50 schools reported receiving bomb threat emails. The threatening messages were initially sent to a school located in Najafgarh and another in Malviya Nagar, triggering immediate security checks.
Later, it was reported that over 50 schools have receieved such threatening emails.
This incident comes just days after multiple schools in Dwarka were targeted with similar threats, raising concerns among parents and authorities about the repeated attempts to create fear.
Delhi Police teams quickly reached both locations after the alerts were received and are conducting thorough inspections. Officials confirmed that the investigation has been intensified to trace the source of the emails.
While no suspicious objects have been found so far, police said that all standard security protocols are being followed to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Authorities are also examining whether the latest threats are linked to the earlier cases reported in Dwarka.
