Madhaura: In a major setback to the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the nomination of Seema Singh, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) candidate from Madhaura, has been rejected ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. The returning officer cancelled her nomination due to discrepancies in her documents, making her ineligible to contest.

Along with Singh, the nominations of independent candidates Altaf Alam Raju and Vishal Kumar, as well as BSP’s Aditya Kumar, were also rejected due to technical errors during scrutiny.
Who is Seema Singh?
Seema Singh gained fame as a Bhojpuri film actress before entering politics with the LJP (RV). In her election affidavit, she declared her educational qualification as ninth grade and provided details of her assets, attracting public attention during her political debut.
