Amritsar: Acting swiftly on intelligence and follow-up leads, the Amritsar Rural Police recovered two additional hand grenades from Harpreet Singh, also known as Happy or Milkha, a resident of Tarn Taran. This brings the total recoveries in the case to four hand grenades.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accused was in direct contact with handlers of Pakistan’s ISI and had received the explosives through cross-border channels.

A case has been registered at PS Gharinda, Amritsar, and further investigations are underway to trace and dismantle the broader terror network.

The Punjab Police reaffirmed its commitment to neutralize terror modules, combat organized crime, and ensure the safety and peace of citizens across the state.
