Gurugram: Food delivery platform Zomato on Monday introduced a new feature, Healthy Mode, enabling users to discover and order nutritious meals directly through its app. The feature is currently live in Gurugram, with plans to roll it out to other cities soon.

According to Zomato, the launch comes in response to growing demand for healthier food options, especially among consumers aged 18 to 45 in metro cities. To support restaurant partners, the company has used advanced AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to create detailed macronutrient profiles for dishes. Each item is assigned a Healthy Score, ranging from ‘Low’ to ‘Super’, based on information provided by the restaurants, helping users make informed choices.

Eternal Founder Deepinder Goyal, in a post on X, said, “Healthy Mode is just the beginning. We’re moving meaningfully closer to our mission: better food for more people. Try it, test it, and give us feedback.” Eternal, the parent company, owns brands including Zomato, Blinkit, District, and Hyperpure.
