Accident Details
The singer was injured on Friday while riding a bike with four companions near Pinjore, when an animal reportedly darted onto the road, causing the vehicle to skid. Jawanda fell and suffered a severe head injury after hitting the road. He also went into cardiac arrest during the emergency response but was resuscitated before being shifted to Mohali.
CM Bhagwant Mann Visits Hospital, Gives Update
On Sunday afternoon, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the hospital to meet with Rajvir’s family and receive a health update from the attending doctors. After his visit, Mann addressed the media, sharing that one of the life support machines had been withdrawn, indicating slight improvement.
“His heart wasn’t functioning properly yesterday and he was on four machines. Today, doctors have removed one. He’s still unconscious, but we’re hopeful,” the CM said.
