Chandigarh: Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi, while addressing the gathering at Kabir Chhatrawas in Sector 6, Panipat, on Friday, said that Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti would be celebrated in Kurukshetra tomorrow, September 26. He said that the government has listened carefully to all the demands of safai karamcharis and all their demands would be fulfilled at the earliest.
Bedi said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, all-round development works are being carried out and social harmony has been strengthened. He appealed to the people to provide their children with higher education to the maximum possible extent so that they can succeed in life.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Minister said that discrimination and social evils prevalent in society can be eliminated through education, awareness and dialogue. Therefore, everyone should ensure that their children receive proper education.
Bedi said that people belonging to all sections of society should respect one another and move forward together. Social discrimination, narrow-mindedness and mutual distance should be eliminated, and everyone should move forward with dignity and mutual respect.
