Haryana Accelerates Major Infrastructure Projects, Chief Secretary Reviews Progress

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi reviewed major infrastructure projects during a high-level meeting of PRAGATI and the Project Monitoring Group here today. Significant progress was reported in metro rail, industrial infrastructure, healthcare and logistics across the state.

During the meeting, Rastogi directed expediting work in all projects and close coordination among state departments, district administrations, central ministries and implementing agencies to ensure timely completion of the projects.

Officials informed that the ₹5,452.72-crore Gurugram Metro, connecting Millennium City Centre to Cyber City and extending to Dwarka Expressway, is progressing as planned. Work permit for government land has been secured, and site work is underway. Project execution remains on track.

Progress on the ₹1,646.43-crore AIIMS Majra project in Rewari was also reviewed. The Deputy Commissioner, Rewari informed that technical sanction of ₹236 crore has been approved for road and rail-over-bridge connectivity, and an NIT worth ₹169 crore has been prepared.
