Chandigarh: As part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ being observed across Haryana from September 17 to October 17, various programmes and activities are being organised across the State. As part of the campaign, a large number of earthen lamps will now be lit as ‘Ashirwad ke diye’ at development infrastructure projects across the State. Haryana Minister for Public Health Engineering and Public Works (Buildings and Roads), Ranbir Gangwa, has issued directions to officials of both departments in this regard.

Gangwa directed that on the evening of September 17, a large number of earthen lamps filled with mustard oil should be lit at new development projects constructed by the two departments across the State during the last 12 years.

He said that these programmes would be organised as a special campaign at the sub-division, division and circle levels across the State. Both departments have also been directed to identify suitable locations for organising these programmes.
