Mumbai: The ongoing marital dispute between veteran Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja has taken another dramatic turn following fresh allegations regarding his relationship with his co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. Despite earlier indications of reconciliation after Ahuja withdrew her divorce petition, she claimed that Govinda and Swarnkar had been planning to tie the knot.
The allegation surfaced during a public interaction involving television personality Rakhi Sawant, who placed a phone call to Ahuja on speaker in the presence of media personnel. During the conversation, Ahuja confirmed that she had withdrawn her legal petition for divorce before asserting that Govinda and Swarnkar were preparing for marriage. Neither Govinda nor Swarnkar has issued a statement confirming or denying the claim.
Swarnkar is an emerging actress cast opposite Govinda in his upcoming film project. Speculation surrounding their personal rapport intensified earlier this year after the two were spotted together at the Mumbai airport, prompting public objections from Ahuja.
