New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced a significant organisational overhaul with the release of its first list of national office bearers under National President Nitin Nabin, bringing in a mix of seasoned leaders and regional representatives. The appointments take effect immediately and establish the core leadership structure ahead of critical upcoming state assembly elections, with the party focusing on strategic national outreach and state representation.
Among the prominent appointments, thirteen leaders have been named National Vice Presidents, including former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, senior leader Ram Madhav from Delhi, and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. The vice-presidential lineup also features Odisha leader Baijayant Jay Panda, Andhra Pradesh leader D. Purandeshwari, Uttar Pradesh representatives Rekha Verma and Prof Tariq Mansoor, Gujarat’s Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Maharashtra’s Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar, Madhya Pradesh’s Lal Singh Arya, Karnataka’s Prof M. Nagaraja, and West Bengal’s Dr. Madhuchandra Kar.
A notable inclusion in the top tier is Sardar Manpreet Singh Badal from Punjab, granting the border state key representation in the national leadership. Badal, a former Punjab finance minister who joined the party in 2023, is expected to play a central role in strengthening the party’s presence in northern India.
The broader restructuring announced by the central leadership covers eight National General Secretaries and sixteen National Secretaries, alongside dedicated administrative appointments. Haryana leader Sanjay Bhatia has been appointed National General Secretary, while senior Punjab leader Tarun Chugh has been assigned the responsibility of Central Office In-charge as the ruling party sharpens its organisational machinery across key electoral battlegrounds.
