New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for NEET-SS 2025 Round 2 counselling following directions from the Delhi High Court, allowing petitioning candidates to register and participate in the ongoing admission process.
In a notice issued on August 5, the MCC said the decision was taken in compliance with the High Court’s order in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 11097/2026, titled Sunil & Another vs Medical Counselling Committee.
The committee has withdrawn its earlier notification dated August 3 with immediate effect and announced a revised counselling timeline.
According to the fresh schedule, the resignation portal will remain open for all eligible candidates until 4 p.m. on August 7. The committee has also decided to reopen the registration and choice-filling process for Round 2.
Fresh registration and choice filling are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on August 9, with the detailed counselling calendar made available on the official MCC portal.
The MCC said the changes were made after considering the observations and concerns raised before the court, ensuring that eligible petitioners are not deprived of an opportunity to participate in the counselling process.
Candidates have been advised to check the updated schedule carefully and complete all formalities within the revised deadlines to avoid missing the Round 2 admission process.
