Applications can be submitted till August 16
Chandigarh: The Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, functioning under Haryana Government’s Department of Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, has launched an important initiative to connect the state’s youth with new opportunities for employment and self-employment. With the aim of promoting the tourism and hospitality sector, the department has decided to provide free ‘Home Stay’ training to youth in all districts of the state, for which applications are being invited from eligible candidates.
A government spokesperson, providing information about this, said that under this scheme, youth of the state aged 15 to 29 years will be eligible to apply for home stay training. The main objective of this training programme is to familiarize the state’s rural and urban youth with the nuances of the home stay business and make them self-reliant. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in this training programme can submit their application forms at their respective district nodal ITI (Industrial Training Institute) from August 4, 2026, to August 16, 2026.
Detailed information related to the scheme, application forms, and all necessary rules and conditions have been made available on the department’s official website www.itiharyana.gov.in, from where candidates can easily download them. The department’s decision will be final and binding in the entire process of candidate selection.
