Jalandhar: Radha Soami Dera Beas has intensified its humanitarian efforts to support families devastated by the recent floods in Punjab. On Wednesday, Dera head Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon visited Satsang Bhawan-3 in Rahmatpur, Jalandhar, where large consignments of relief material are being prepared for distribution.

Thousands of followers gathered early in the morning to seek his blessings, with Dera volunteers managing internal arrangements and traffic around the venue. Local police had also put in place strict security measures and diverted routes to ensure smooth movement.

After his visit to Jalandhar, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon travelled to flood-hit Shahkot to personally assess the situation. He assured that relief supplies would be tailored to meet the immediate needs of affected households and confirmed discussions with officials regarding additional requirements flagged by the administration.

Just days earlier, during a congregation at Dera Beas, the spiritual leader had appealed to devotees to stand united in this hour of crisis. He urged followers to extend help wherever needed, emphasizing selfless service as a guiding principle.

With Dera’s large-scale mobilization of men and material, the organization continues to play a significant role in easing the suffering of displaced families across Punjab’s flood-affected regions.
