Chandigarh: Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has officially confirmed his relationship with Punjabi model and actress Samreen Kaur, ending months of speculation surrounding their personal lives. The cricketer shared the first public photographs of the couple on Instagram, captioning the post simply, “My Person.”
The post quickly went viral, drawing congratulatory messages from fans, fellow cricketers and members of the entertainment industry. It also put to rest rumours that had surrounded the pair over the past few months, including reports suggesting they had parted ways.
Speculation about the relationship first surfaced in April 2026, when Arshdeep posted a picture on Snapchat showing himself holding the hand of an unidentified woman. Although her face was not visible, social media users matched the tattoo and nail art seen in the image with those of Samreen Kaur, sparking widespread discussion online.
The rumours gathered momentum during the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, when Samreen was spotted at multiple Punjab Kings matches cheering from the stands. She was seen supporting the team at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh as well as at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, prompting fans to believe the two were more than just friends.
In the weeks that followed, the duo was seen together on several occasions. They were photographed arriving at Chandigarh Airport and were later seen walking hand in hand through the streets and local markets of Dharamshala during the IPL season. Videos of their outings circulated widely on social media, although neither Arshdeep nor Samreen publicly addressed the speculation at the time.
The couple also visited a Gurudwara together in June to offer prayers. Around the same period, rumours claiming they had ended their relationship surfaced online. However, Arshdeep’s latest Instagram post has effectively dismissed those reports by making their relationship public.
While both Arshdeep and Samreen have largely kept their personal lives away from the spotlight, the Instagram announcement marks the first time the Indian pacer has openly acknowledged the relationship.
