Drug-Free India Campaign- Youth Invited to Spread Awareness Through Creative Competitions

Chandigarh : As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign),  a series of awareness initiatives will be organised to educate young people and the public about the harmful effects of substance abuse while encouraging a healthy and positive lifestyle. In this regard, Mera Yuva Bharat, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is organising a range of creative competitions under the Nasha Mukt Yuva Se Viksit Bharat campaign.

Sharing more details in this regard, a spokesperson of the department said that the initiative aims to promote awareness against drug abuse while providing a platform for young people to showcase their creativity. Interested participants can register through the official MY Bharat portal. The last date for registration and submission of entries is July 27.

Youth in the 15–29 years age groups are eligible to participate in competitions including dance, singing, street plays, painting, debate, reel-making, slogan writing and poetry writing.

The spokesperson urged eligible youth to participate enthusiastically and contribute to the national mission of building a Drug-Free India and a Developed India.  Winners at the district level will be honoured and will also get an opportunity to participate in the state-level programme.
