Chandigarh: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday visited Jind and reviewed the preparations and arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed programme on Friday, during which he will flag off India’s first hydrogen train from Jind.
The Chief Minister said that all programmes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be held in Jind would be completely eco-friendly. Public Works Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Deputy Speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Dr. Krishan Lal Middha, BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Arun Kumar Gupta, Director General of Police Ajay Singhal, Commissioner and Secretary, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, Director General K.M. Pandurang and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vaishali Sharma, among several other senior officers, were also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University in Jind on Thursday. There, he sought information from the officers regarding the arrangements for all the programmes of the Prime Minister to be held in Jind. Thereafter, the Chief Minister reached Jind Railway Station and reviewed the preparations related to the launch of the hydrogen train. He also issued necessary directions to the officers regarding the arrangements. He inspected the entry arrangements for the general public and VIPs, the executive lounge, cafeteria and railway track, and took stock of the facilities being provided to passengers.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister reviewed the preparations for the ‘Viksit Bharat–Viksit Haryana’ rally to be held at the Haryana Urban Development Authority ground opposite Eklavya Stadium. He reviewed the seating arrangements for the general public, parking arrangements and the facilities being prepared for the public. He directed the officials to ensure that people attending the rally do not face any inconvenience regarding drinking water and other amenities.
Hansi MLA Vinod Bhayana, former BJP State President Mohan Lal Kaushik, Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University Dr. Rampal Saini, BJP leader Jawahar Lal Saini, Additional Director, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Captain Manish Lohan, among several other dignitaries, were also present on the occasion.
