Chandigarh: Taking another significant step towards strengthening the road network in the state, the Haryana Government has accorded administrative approval for the construction of a road connecting Tosham Road (along Kaimri Minor) to the Kaimri-Gangwa Link Road in Hisar district.

Sharing this information, Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said that an amount of Rs. 23.95 crore will be spent on the project. The work has been proposed under a Chief Minister’s announcement and will provide improved and safer road connectivity to the people of the area.

He said that upon completion of the project, residents of Kaimri, Gangwa, and nearby villages will benefit from significantly improved transportation facilities. The project will also facilitate agricultural activities, trade, and daily commuting in the region. An underground crossing beneath the Kaimri Minor will make traffic movement safer and more convenient.

The Minister stated that following the grant of administrative approval, the next steps under the prescribed procedures will be initiated so that construction work can commence at the earliest. The project will strengthen the region’s infrastructure and provide fresh momentum to development.

Ranbir Gangwa said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is continuously working to strengthen road infrastructure across Haryana. The government’s objective is to provide every citizen with better, safer, and more convenient transportation facilities. To achieve this, the road network is being rapidly expanded and upgraded not only in urban areas but also across rural regions.

He emphasized that good roads form the foundation of development, which is why the government is giving the highest priority to road construction and maintenance works.

The Minister further said that the state government aims to connect every village with a strong and high-quality road network so that people in rural areas can access education, healthcare, employment, and other essential services without any difficulty.
