New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party launched its sharpest public attack yet on the Cockroach Janta Party on Monday, with BJP National President Nitin Nabin characterising the political outfit as a “virus and cockroach” gang intent on hollowing out and dividing the country. The severe verbal offensive comes amid an ongoing, indefinite agitation by the CJP at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, where protesters are actively demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the controversial NEET-UG paper leak issue.
Addressing an expansive gathering of booth-level party workers in Warangal during his ongoing organizational visit to Telangana, Nabin alleged that groups like the CJP operate strictly against fundamental national interests. The recently appointed 45-year-old party chief compared such emerging outfits to destructive pests, warning that they function similarly to the “tukde-tukde gang” by attempting to break the nation into pieces. He asserted that dedicated BJP workers would remain vigilant against these divisive agendas and work tirelessly on the ground to teach the opposition forces a decisive political lesson.
Later in the day, while addressing students at an educational institution near Hyderabad during a youth conclave, Nabin expanded on his vision for the country’s demographic dividend by contrasting Indian youth with international demonstrators. He pushed back against global narratives regarding youth-led demonstrations, stating that India’s Gen Z is inherently constructive, deeply respectful of the Constitution, and focused on national development rather than anarchy or anti-establishment agitation. The BJP chief highlighted that the true representation of India’s Gen Z lies in its successful startup innovators and international sportspeople who actively build the nation’s future economy.
Turning his focus to regional electoral politics, Nabin used the three-day southern tour to mobilize grassroots booth presidents for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections. He launched a direct attack on the ruling state government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging that the Congress administration has continuously failed to execute its core electoral promises over the last two years. Taking a final swipe at the Leader of the Opposition, Nabin slammed Congress MP Rahul Gandhi by describing him as a mere “part-time politician” who prioritizes dynastic interests, contrasting him with the round-the-clock working model followed by BJP cadres.
