Congress leader Ram Lal Thakur thanks CM for restoring streams in Naina Devi Ji and Jukhala colleges

Shimla: Former Minister and senior Congress Party leader Ram Lal Thakur called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh here today and thanked him for restoring the Commerce stream in Government College Naina Devi Ji and Science and Commerce streams in Government College, Jukhala in district Bilaspur to enable the students to pursue their studies in these streams nearer to their homes.

The Chief Minister said that the present state government remains committed to providing quality education to the youth of the state nearer to their homes. He said that the government has accorded top priority to education sector and due to the pragmatic steps of the present government, the state has reached at fifth position in providing quality education to students which had slipped to 21st rank during the previous BJP regime.
