Chandigarh: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan today paid heartfelt tributes to the great Sikh warrior and martyr, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, on his martyrdom day.

Speaker Sandhwan recalled the unparalleled sacrifice of the iconic commander. He highlighted Baba Banda Singh Bahadur’s historic role in establishing the first sovereign Sikh rule. He also praised his revolutionary land reforms that gave land ownership rights to poor tillers and farmers.
