Sri Sathya Sai District: Acting President of Venezuela, Delcy Eloina Rodriguez Gomez, visited Prasanthi Nilayam in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district and offered prayers at the spiritual centre dedicated to Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Rodriguez arrived at the Sri Sathya Sai Airport, where she was welcomed by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Managing Trustee RJ Rathnakar, Trust member Manohar Shetty and other officials. She later proceeded to Prasanthi Nilayam for the visit.
According to a statement issued by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, the Venezuelan leader offered prayers to Sri Sathya Sai Baba and visited the Sai Kulwant Hall, where she paid her respects at Bhagawan’s Sannidhi.
The Trust said Rodriguez spent time in quiet reflection and prayer during her visit, paying homage at the spiritual leader’s sacred abode.
Trust officials noted that Rodriguez has visited Prasanthi Nilayam on previous occasions as well and has often expressed appreciation for Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings centred on love, peace and selfless service.
Her visit comes as part of her ongoing engagements in India and highlights her continued association with the spiritual institution.
