Phagwara: A shooting took place outside the Law Gate in Phagwara, in which Jalandhar RTI activist Simranjeet Singh was shot dead. The incident has caused panic among locals, who alerted the police.
On receiving the report, SP Madhavi Sharma arrived at the scene with a police team and began an investigation. The police have taken possession of the body. SP said case is under investigation. According to information received, Simranjeet Singh died at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head.
