Fatehgarh Sahib: An alleged threat call to Manvinder Singh Giaspura has triggered security concerns in Fatehgarh Sahib, with the legislator formally approaching top police officials for action.
According to reports, the Aam Aadmi Party leader claimed he received a threatening phone call from an individual believed to be operating from abroad. Taking the matter seriously, Giaspura has submitted a written complaint to the Director General of Police, requesting immediate intervention.

He stressed that the issue goes beyond personal security and affects the wider network of supporters in his constituency.
Giaspura also shared a video clip of the alleged conversation, in which the caller can be heard using abusive language and issuing threats. Despite attempts by the MLA to engage and understand the motive, the caller reportedly continued with verbal aggression without revealing clear details.
The legislator has urged authorities to identify those responsible and take strict action, while also ensuring adequate protection for him and his associates to prevent any potential incident.
Police officials have yet to issue a detailed statement, but sources indicate that the matter is under examination and appropriate steps are likely to follow.
