Delegation of taxi and truck operators calls on CM

Shimla: A delegation of taxi and truck operator’s unions from Kangra district met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today at Kangra Airport and apprised him about various demands.

The Chief Minister listened carefully to the issues and demands raised by the union representatives and assured them to consider their genuine demands sympathetically.

The delegation requested that the manual fitness testing facilities for commercial vehicles should also be made available in Kangra district through the RTO and MVI for the time being.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said that, keeping in view the difficulties of hilly states, the matter has also been raised with the Central Government.Office bearers from various operator’s unions were also present on the occasion.
