Jammu: Security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir intensified their crackdown on suspected terror networks on Thursday, carrying out coordinated search operations across multiple locations in the Kashmir Valley.
Officials confirmed that the raids were led by the Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit of the Jammu and Kashmir Police as part of an ongoing investigation into a recently registered terror-related case.
Search operations were conducted simultaneously in Srinagar, Shopian, and Ganderbal districts. Authorities said the action was based on court-issued warrants, ensuring the legality of the searches.
While officials have not disclosed specific details about the case or the individuals under scrutiny, they indicated that the operation is part of a broader effort to dismantle potential terror links and gather crucial evidence.
The raids are still underway, and further information is expected once the searches conclude and investigators assess the material collected during the operation.
