Ajit Pawar Death News: An aircraft carrying senior NCP leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar met with an accident during its landing in Baramati on Wednesday morning, triggering concern across the state. The incident occurred as the plane was approaching the runway, according to early reports.

Eyewitnesses from nearby areas said the aircraft crash-landed moments before coming to a complete stop. Emergency teams rushed to the site, and Ajit Pawar, 66, was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical attention. However, he succumbed to his injuries. (Ajit Pawar Death News)

Pawar was travelling from Mumbai to Baramati to attend a scheduled public programme later in the day. The flight had departed from Mumbai earlier in the morning.

Confirming the incident, officials from the Pune Rural Police said senior officers had been directed to reach the crash location without delay. Authorities are currently assessing the situation and gathering further details related to the cause of the accident.
