Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly condemned attempts by BJP and Congress leaders to cast doubts on a forensic conclusion already recorded by a court in the case related to the doctored video of AAP leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. AAP leaders said questioning court-recorded forensic findings goes beyond political disagreement and amounts to undermining judicial authority.
AAP Punjab President Aman Arora, responding to BJP Punjab President Sunil Jakhar, clarified that the Honourable Court, after examining forensic reports submitted by the State Forensic Science Laboratory, explicitly recorded that the viral video was doctored and that the alleged derogatory word was not present in the original audio. Based on this forensic determination, the court ordered the video to be taken down and blocked on social media platforms. Arora said denying these findings is not political debate but a challenge to the rule of law.

AAP Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar also warned against exploiting religious sentiments through manipulated content. Responding to Congress leader Pargat Singh, Bhullar said repeating false narratives cannot alter judicial facts and urged political leaders to respect court findings and democratic responsibility.
