Chandigarh: The state-level Republic Day celebrations in Punjab for 2026 will take place in Patiala, where Governor Gulab Chand Kataria will unfurl the National Flag on January 26.
An official statement said Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will preside over the Republic Day समारोह by hoisting the National Flag at Hoshiarpur.
Republic Day is observed annually on January 26 to mark the adoption of the Constitution of India, with state-level events organised across Punjab alongside district and local functions.
