Tara Sutaria, Veer Pahariya Push Back Against Rumours After AP Dhillon Concert Clip Goes Viral

Mumbai: Actor Tara Sutaria and entrepreneur Veer Pahariya have addressed the online chatter sparked by a widely shared video from singer AP Dhillon’s recent Mumbai concert, calling the speculation around their relationship misleading and unfair.

The viral clip showed Tara joining AP Dhillon on stage, where she embraced the singer and briefly kissed him on the cheek. While the moment itself appeared light-hearted, social media attention quickly shifted to Veer, who was spotted in the crowd. Several users claimed his expression suggested discomfort, fuelling rumours of tension between the couple.

Putting an end to the assumptions, Tara took to Instagram to share footage from the concert and directly counter the narrative circulating online. In her post, she stated that she and Veer are unaffected by what she described as distorted storytelling created through selective editing and agenda-driven commentary. Emphasising unity, she said their relationship remains strong and unshaken, adding that genuine emotions cannot be overshadowed by online negativity. Tara also thanked AP Dhillon and described the concert as a memorable evening.

Veer, too, clarified the situation, explaining that the clip showing his reaction was taken during a different song altogether. According to him, it was wrongly stitched into the viral video to suggest a reaction that never happened. He dismissed the claims outright, calling them unfounded and misleading.

The couple’s response has resonated with fans, many of whom criticised the rush to judge based on fragmented visuals. Tara and Veer have largely kept their relationship away from controversy since they were first linked earlier this year.

Speculation about their romance began in early 2025 after the two were seen together frequently. Their relationship became more visible when they walked the ramp together as showstoppers at a fashion event in March. They later made their bond public during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, where they were seen together with family and friends.

Veer recently spoke about their relationship in an interview, sharing that they have never felt the need to hide their feelings. He recalled a defining moment in their early days, when a late-night music session brought them closer—he played the piano while Tara sang until dawn. Tara echoed the sentiment, saying their connection is rooted in unwavering support for one another.

As online debates continue to flare up over celebrity moments, Tara and Veer’s response serves as a reminder of how quickly narratives can be shaped—and distorted—by viral content.
