Jalandhar: In a significant stride against organized crime, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police have successfully dismantled a sophisticated narcotics and arms smuggling network operating in the region. The operation led to the arrest of five individuals and the seizure of 1.5 kilograms of heroin along with seven illegal weapons.
Authorities said the bust has delivered a severe setback to drug and arms traffickers, preventing further circulation of narcotics and curbing the distribution of illegal firearms across Punjab. The arrested suspects are currently under investigation, with police tracing the network’s connections to larger criminal syndicates.
