Shimla: The Shimla police have launched a search operation after three Class 6 students from a reputed local school were reported missing following an outing.
According to officials, the boys had gone out for leisure activities in the city but failed to return to the school premises at the expected time. Concern grew when repeated attempts to reach them were unsuccessful.
The school administration subsequently lodged a formal complaint, prompting immediate action by the police. “A search is currently underway, and all possible leads are being investigated,” a police spokesperson confirmed, adding that teams are checking nearby areas and questioning locals for any clues.
Authorities have not ruled out any possibilities and are urging the public to share any information that could help locate the missing students. Meanwhile, anxious parents and the school community are awaiting updates as the investigation continues.
