Tarn Taran: The All India Terrorism Victims Association (AITVA) has declared its support for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu ahead of the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election.

At a press briefing, the association’s president Dr. Bodh Raj Hastir, joined by Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, party leader Barinder Goyal, and Punjab Government Director Ravinder Hans, announced the organization’s unanimous decision to back Sandhu.

Dr. Hastir urged families affected by terrorism in the constituency to rally behind Sandhu, emphasizing the candidate’s commitment to representing their concerns in the Legislative Assembly. He expressed confidence that a strong show of support from victim families could secure a decisive victory for Sandhu.

The endorsement comes as the Tarn Taran by-election, scheduled for November 11, draws near, with political parties intensifying efforts to win voter support across the constituency.
