SGPC Chief Expresses Grief Over Vrindavan Boat Tragedy, Announces Support for Victims’ Families

Amritsar— The President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Harjinder Singh Dhami, has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the recent boat capsizing incident in Vrindavan.

In a statement, Dhami described the incident as extremely tragic and extended heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. He prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families to cope with the immense loss.

Reaffirming support, he said that the SGPC stands firmly with the affected families during this difficult time. To assist victims and their relatives, necessary arrangements have been made at a gurdwara in Mathura under SGPC management.

He further informed that Brijpal Singh has been assigned duty to provide on-ground assistance and ensure that all required help reaches those in need.

The move aims to offer immediate relief and support to families impacted by the tragic incident, as rescue and recovery efforts continue.
