Mansa (Punjab): A 60-year-old farmer, Jagjeevan, lost his life in Jawarke village of Mansa district when a wall of his house collapsed amid continuous rainfall.

Local residents said the farmer was trapped under the debris and died on the spot before help could arrive. The incident underscores the growing dangers faced by rural households as unrelenting rains weaken structures in low-lying villages across Punjab.

Authorities have urged residents in flood-affected areas to remain cautious as more rain is forecast in the coming days.
