Chandigarh: Amid escalating clashes between rival gangs in Punjab, an audio clip has surfaced in which Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar is allegedly threatened with death. The audio, purportedly released by a gangster identified as Saba from Gobindgarh, warns Brar that he will be tracked down and killed “no matter where he hides.”
(The authenticity of the audio clip has not been independently verified.)
In the clip, the speaker claims Goldy Brar betrayed his associates despite receiving weapons and support from Lawrence Bishnoi after the murder of Gurlal Brar. He alleges that pistols were handed over to Goldy through him and accuses Goldy of turning against the group.
The voice in the audio further claims that during the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, Lawrence Bishnoi provided Goldy with AK-47 rifles and other weapons. He accuses Goldy of enjoying the gang’s influence and resources while later deserting them for his own benefit.
The speaker also alleges that after Gurlal Brar’s killing, Lawrence continued helping Goldy, allowing him to operate on an already established platform. He boasts that the gang elevated Goldy’s name to the “world level” and claims they could “create thousands more like him.”
He goes on to accuse Goldy Brar of causing the death of a man named Pairi, stealing ₹25–30 crore from the group, and helping law enforcement arrest several associates. The speaker ends with a direct threat, stating that Goldy should remain prepared because he would be hunted down even “from the depths of the underworld.”
Police and investigative agencies have not yet issued an official statement regarding the audio clip, and its origin remains unclear.
