CHANDIGARH— A young man was assassinated in broad daylight today outside a popular fitness center in Sector 9. The victim, whose identity has not yet been officially released by the police, was targeted by unidentified assailants as he stepped out of the gym following his morning workout.
According to eyewitnesses and initial police reports, the attackers appeared to have been lying in wait for the victim. As he reached the pavement, the assailants opened fire at close range, striking him multiple times.
