New Delhi– The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asked all its Members of Parliament to reach Delhi by September 6, just days before the Vice-Presidential election scheduled for September 9.

In a letter issued to MPs, the party directed them to participate in a series of events planned ahead of the crucial vote. BJP president JP Nadda will host a dinner for all party MPs at his residence on September 6 at 7 pm.

The following day, on September 7, MPs will attend a party workshop beginning at 9 am and continuing late into the evening. The workshop will resume on September 8 from 3 pm to 6 pm at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament complex. Later that evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a dinner for all National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs at his residence.

On September 9, members of both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will cast their ballots to elect the country’s next Vice-President.
