Chandigarh: Taking another significant step towards ensuring better healthcare services for the public, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Dr. Balbir Singh conducted a surprise inspection of various health centers in Fatehgarh Sahib district under Punjab’s Bhagwant Mann government. This inspection is part of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s vision which emphasizes providing quality medical facilities to patients in government hospitals and health centers. During this visit, Dr. Singh assessed the medical staff, availability of medicines, and facilities being provided to patients.
During the surprise inspection, MLA Dr. Balbir Singh held detailed discussions with all concerned officers and medical staff. He directly interacted with patients to understand what kind of problems they are facing and whether facilities are being made available on time. Dr. Singh said that the Mann government’s objective is to ensure that every citizen receives the best healthcare services without any discrimination and that government hospitals have facilities comparable to private hospitals.

The MLA said that whatever shortcomings have been found, instructions will be issued to the concerned department to remove them immediately.
