Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister. Nayab Singh Saini paid heartfelt tributes to renowned social reformer, visionary thinker, and educationist Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on his birth anniversary, remembering his invaluable contributions to society.
The Chief Minister said that Mahatma Phule dedicated his life to challenging deep-rooted social evils, caste-based discrimination, and inequality. By promoting education as a powerful instrument of change, he paved the way for the upliftment of marginalized sections of society.
He further said that Mahatma Phule played a pioneering role in opening the doors of education for women and the underprivileged, thereby laying a strong foundation for equality and social justice. His efforts brought about greater awareness and fostered a progressive outlook towards education.
