Shimla: Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today participated in the ‘Guru Ka Langar’ service at IGMC Shimla and rendered voluntary service dedicating it in the memory of late Smt. Simmi Agnihotri. The langar is being continuously organised for several years by the Almighty Blessings Society.

Deputy Chief Minister said that services like ‘Guru Ka Langar’ present a true example of selfless service to humanity. He remarked that through this noble initiative, three meals per day were being served to needy patients and their attendants with love, dignity and compassion, thereby strengthening the spirit of service and empathy in society.
Appreciating the efforts of the Almighty Blessings Society Agnihotri lauded the efforts of its founder, Sarabjeet Singh Bobby for his unwavering dedication and commitment in carrying forward this noble humanitarian service for the past 11 years without a break. He said that such initiatives serve as an inspiration for society and stand as a shining example of service, cooperation and sensitivity.

The Deputy Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all the volunteers associated with the organization for their selfless efforts and stated that the government would always encourage and support such social and humanitarian initiatives.
