CHANDIGARH: In a significant boost to Punjab’s employment drive, Harpal Singh Cheema, under the ‘Rozgar Kranti’ initiative led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, handed over appointment letters to newly recruited youth during a formal ceremony. A total of eleven candidates were inducted as Junior Auditors in the office of Examiner, Local Fund Accounts, strengthening the Finance Department with fresh and qualified talent selected through a transparent process.
Congratulating the appointees, the Finance Minister stressed the importance of integrity, transparency, and dedication in public service. He highlighted that the entire recruitment process was conducted strictly on merit through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), ensuring fairness and credibility. Cheema expressed confidence that the newly inducted auditors would enhance the efficiency and productivity of the department.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to employment generation, Cheema stated that more than 65,000 youth have already been provided jobs under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He added that ‘Rozgar Kranti’ remains a top priority, with the government focused on building a transparent, efficient, and youth-driven administrative framework across Punjab.
