Chandigarh: Renowned singer and music composer B Praak has welcomed a new addition to his family, sharing the happy news with fans and well-wishers on Friday. The celebrated musician and his wife, Meera Bachan, have been blessed with a baby boy, marking a special new chapter in their lives.
The couple announced that their son was born on December 1, 2025, describing the moment as one filled with gratitude, warmth and renewed faith. Soon after the announcement, social media was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, fellow musicians and members of the film industry.
Along with sharing the news of their child’s arrival, B Praak and Meera also revealed the name of their newborn — Ddvij Bachan. The couple explained that the name holds spiritual significance, with “Ddvij” meaning “twice born,” symbolising inner awakening, rebirth and divine grace.
B Praak, widely admired for his soulful voice and emotionally charged songs such as Teri Mitti, married Meera Bachan in 2019. The couple are already parents to a son, born in 2020, and have often shared glimpses of their family life with fans.
