Mumbai – The Mumbai Police have issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra in connection with a cheating case worth ₹60 crore, officials confirmed on Friday.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) took the step as the couple frequently travels abroad, raising concerns that they might evade investigation. The LOC ensures immigration and border control authorities are alerted if they attempt to leave the country.

According to police, a complaint was lodged at Juhu police station on August 14, alleging that Shetty and Kundra defrauded a businessman of nearly ₹60 crore through a loan-cum-investment deal.

Officials explained that a Lookout Circular is typically issued to restrict a person’s movement outside India or to track their entry and exit at airports and border points during an ongoing probe.
