Mohali: Authorities in Mohali have issued a detailed traffic advisory as thousands of fans are expected to attend Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla’s live concert at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Phase 9 on Saturday evening.
Officials anticipate heavy congestion around the stadium and adjoining roads throughout the afternoon and evening as large crowds gather for the performance. Motorists have been advised to steer clear of the Phase 9 area and nearby connecting routes during peak hours unless travel there is unavoidable.

To manage the expected rush, traffic police and event organisers have established designated parking areas and specific drop-off points around the venue. Temporary traffic diversions and controlled entry points are also being implemented to maintain smoother vehicular movement.
Commuters travelling through Mohali have been warned to prepare for delays on major approach roads leading to the stadium, particularly during the hours leading up to the event.
The concert is part of the widely anticipated P POP CULTURE India Tour 2026, which has attracted massive interest among fans. Ticket prices for the event reportedly range from ₹1,499 for general entry to around ₹11.80 lakh for premium experiences, highlighting the enormous demand for the show.
In view of the scale of the gathering, police have rolled out an extensive security and traffic management plan across the city. More than 4,500 police personnel have been deployed from March 13 to March 15 to regulate traffic flow, ensure public safety and assist visitors arriving for the event.
Authorities have urged residents and commuters to consider using public transport or car-pooling options and to plan their journeys in advance. People travelling into or out of the city centre have also been advised to allow additional travel time and follow instructions from traffic officials stationed at key intersections.
With excitement among fans running high and the stadium expected to be packed, officials say coordinated traffic management will be crucial to ensuring that the event proceeds smoothly for both attendees and residents.
