Lincoln (Ontario): The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Homicide Unit has launched a Canada-wide manhunt for Manpreet Singh, accused of murdering 27-year-old Amanpreet Saini, whose body was discovered on October 21 at Charles Daley Park in Lincoln, Ontario.
A postmortem confirmed Saini, a resident of North York, as the victim of a violent crime. Police have identified Singh, 27, of Brampton, as the primary suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of second-degree murder.
Investigators believe Singh fled Canada soon after the incident. Authorities have classified the killing as a “targeted attack,” assuring the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety.
Police continue to coordinate with international agencies in their search for Singh. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Niagara at 1-800-222-8477, with cash rewards available for information leading to an arrest.
