Bigg Boss 19 is no stranger to controversy, but this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar saw host Salman Khan taking a firm stand against contestant Malti Chahar for her personal and inappropriate comment toward fellow housemate Nehal Chudasama.
In a promo released by JioCinema ahead of the weekend episode, Salman is seen confronting Malti over her comment, where she told Nehal, “Next time kapde pehen ke baat karna,” during a heated altercation over a simple dish of halwa. What followed was an awkward justification from Malti that not only failed to convince anyone but left Salman visibly unimpressed — even pretending to fall asleep mid-explanation.
Salman Mocks Malti’s Justification
When Salman asked Malti what she meant by the remark, she attempted to explain it was related to the low temperature in the house due to the air-conditioning, suggesting she was concerned Nehal might feel cold. The explanation, however, fell flat.
“Kitno ko lagta hai ki yeh ekdum bakwas tha?” Salman asked the housemates — and many, including Kunickaa Sadanand, raised their hands in agreement, calling the justification baseless.
Salman didn’t mince words as he criticized Malti for deflecting accountability and then backing off when confronted.
“Malti, dose deti ho toh return dose lena bhi seekho. Baad mein maidaan chhod kar bhaag jaati ho,” he said, pointing out her pattern of making sharp remarks and then refusing to take criticism in return.
The Fight That Sparked It All
The incident traces back to an argument over suji ka halwa, where Nehal, as captain, made a decision about the day’s meal. Malti mocked the dish with a sarcastic remark — “Ganda halwa banega” — which triggered Baseer Ali to question her disrespectful tone.
What began as a minor disagreement quickly escalated. When Nehal challenged Malti about her dismissive behavior, Malti retaliated with the controversial comment about Nehal’s clothing — even though Nehal was fully dressed.
The house instantly reacted. Nehal appeared shocked and furious, Ashnoor Kaur was seen covering her ears in disbelief, and Kunickaa lashed out at Malti, demanding an explanation for the unprovoked personal attack.
“What the hell did you just say?” Kunickaa questioned, as tensions in the house rose sharply.
Social Media Divided
Following the promo, fans took to social media, many applauding Salman for calling out Malti’s behavior, while others debated whether the remark was taken out of context.
One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Glad Salman didn’t let this slide. These kinds of comments aren’t entertainment—they’re personal attacks.”
Another viewer, however, argued, “Malti didn’t mean it literally. But yes, she needs to think before speaking.”
Bigger Message from Salman
Salman Khan’s reaction wasn’t just a warning to Malti, but a reminder to all housemates that personal insults have consequences, and careless language won’t be tolerated — even in the pressure-cooker environment of Bigg Boss.
With drama escalating and relationships in the house now even more strained, all eyes will be on the next few episodes to see whether Malti takes Salman’s advice to heart — or if the conflict continues to unravel.
