Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has brought 9 services of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC) within the ambit of the Right to Service Act, 2014, ensuring a defined timeline for their delivery.

According to the notification issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, the prescribed time limits under the NSFDC schemes are 135 days for the Education Loan and Micro Finance Schemes, and 180 days for the Term Loan Scheme.

Under the National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC), the covered services include the Education Loan Scheme, Mahila Adhikarita Yojana, Mahila Samridhi Yojana, Micro Credit Finance Scheme and the Green Business Scheme, all with a time limit of 135 days. For the General Term Loan Scheme, the time limit is 180 days.

For all the above schemes, the District Manager of the concerned district has been designated as the officer responsible for service delivery. The Senior Accounts Officer, HSFDC, has been designated as the First Grievance Redressal Authority, while the Managing Director, HSFDC, will function as the Second Grievance Redressal Authority. This structured grievance redressal mechanism has been introduced to ensure that citizens receive timely services and have an effective avenue for addressing grievances in case of delays or issues.

In addition, one service of the Fisheries Department has also been brought under the ambit of the Right to Service Act. The Subsidy of Renovation of Ponds must be provided with 40 days.
