Amritsar: Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and film producer Bhushan Kumar visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar late Monday night to offer prayers and express gratitude following the completion of the shoot for their upcoming film ‘Border 2’. The duo participated in an ardaas (prayer) to mark the successful conclusion of the film’s shooting schedule.
Bhushan Kumar, who is also the chairman of T-Series and one of the producers of Border 2, had been in Amritsar for the final leg of filming. After the shoot wrapped up late in the night, both Varun and Bhushan paid their respects at the holy shrine, offering prayers and listening to kirtan in the sanctum of the temple. A few fans recognized them during the visit and clicked selfies.
Varun Dhawan’s visit comes ahead of the release of his upcoming film ‘Sanskari Sunny Ki Tulsi Kumari’, scheduled to hit theatres in September. The actor has been in the spotlight not just for this romantic comedy but also for his intense role in Border 2, which is already generating buzz.
Earlier, Varun shared a video on social media featuring himself with co-stars Diljit Dosanjh, Ahaan Shetty, and other crew members celebrating the wrap-up of the Border 2 shoot. In the video, Diljit Dosanjh was seen playfully feeding Varun laddoos, adding a fun, festive touch to the moment.
Just a few days ago, Varun had posted a photo on his social media in traditional Punjabi attire—kurta-pajama—posing in the lush fields of Punjab. The post garnered lakhs of likes and enthusiastic comments from fans, reflecting the actor’s growing connection with Punjabi culture during the filming schedule.
With back-to-back projects and strong buzz around his performances, Varun Dhawan continues to remain a fan favorite and a bankable star on the big screen.
