New Delhi,: Air India Express has announced a major expansion of its domestic network with the launch of seven new direct routes, offering greater connectivity from Delhi and Amritsar starting late October.

According to an airline official, the new schedule will see Delhi connected directly to Goa (Dabolim), Imphal, Lucknow, and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) from October 26, followed by the launch of the Delhi–Amritsar route on October 28. Daily services to Jodhpur and Udaipur will commence from November 1.

The carrier said this expansion aims to strengthen air connectivity between the capital and key cultural, tourism, and business destinations across India. From October 26, three daily flights will operate between Delhi and Goa, along with daily connections to Imphal and Port Blair. Additional services are being introduced to Lucknow and Sri Vijaya Puram, while Delhi–Amritsar flights will run thrice weekly.

The airline described the move as part of its broader strategy to make travel more accessible and inclusive by linking major metropolitan hubs with emerging regional destinations.

“This expansion underlines our continued focus on enhancing direct connectivity from key Indian cities to regional and international destinations across South Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia,” Air India Express said in a statement.

The announcement follows a year of rapid growth for the airline, which has added several new domestic and international routes from its hubs in Delhi and Bengaluru. With a fleet of 115 aircraft and over 500 daily flights, Air India Express now serves 43 domestic and 17 international destinations.
